This was cute. I had a good time listening to the audiobook. I liked the main couple, Margot and Olivia. I loved Olivia's cat Cat. Cat and her antics were one of my favorite parts.

ALEXANDRIA DID IT AGAIN.

the story starts strong, it's witty and funny and sucks you in from the very beginning.

the second chance romance is so well done, and Cat makes it even more funny.

chapter 10!!!

Brendon was starting to annoy me with his set ups but the skiing excursion was something.

GETTING DARCY AND ELLE ENGAGEMENT 😭 I love them so much.

are men really that ignorant? Brad??? Luke?? please teach your boys to read a room.

i wasn't that interested in Margot's storyline from the other two books but in the end, she's me in book form.

fear of abandonment? check. insecurities? check. craving love but also no? check.

Olivia's dad is my favourite character, I love him.

the ending felt a little rushed and I wish it was developed a bit more.

kinda my favourite of the series, this was a really fun read that had characters with human faults. By far becoming my favourite romance author for lesbian stories, I must say :D

Maybe it's my fault for reading this novel immediately after I finished reading a Jane Austen romance but damn. Is this what writing is like in the 21st century? The father-daughter relationship between Olivia and her dad seemed really wholesome and I wish it was given more spotlight. A lot of the writing seemed to be focused on checking the right boxes for writing a romance novel but the writer doesn't leave any imprint by which a reader can that they are reading an Alexandria Bellefleur novel. In other words, the writer did not put any thought into the stylistic development of the story. The relationship between Margot and Olivia is brought into sharp contrast with the relationship between Liv and Brad; perhaps a bit too much because it felt like reading a Reddit thread on relationship advice.
