About what one would expect as far as the story goes. Works well as a counting book moving both up and back down again. Nice large font on the numbers.

This book is a little too long for toddlers.

A good book to use for counting up and back. Rhyming is also used in the story. The turkeys are silly and cause a ruckus on the farm. Readers will enjoy it.

Gobble-Gobble Crash! a Barnyard Counting Bash by Julie Stiegemeyer in 2008 is an entertaining children's book if you are looking to teach children counting up to ten and looking for a humorous way to do so. Suggested for early elementary ages, for students in kindergarten to second grade. The book features a barnyard of sleeping animals when a group of loud turkeys, like the title start to gobble and crash waking all the animals and the humans as well. It is entertaining and full of wonderful illustrations by Valeri Gorbachev.
