I loved reading about Alicia and Theo. These two really make it feel like you are there in their story and are a part of their lives. Jenn writes in a way that you can feel the emotion coming from Alicia as she is trying to be the best surfer while trying to break a curse that she has had since she was six. I highly recommend this book.

This was an intriguing novel. Alicia's family has been cursed by Cupid, so from the ages of 6-25 she has the opportunity to find her soulmate. However, her soulmate must eat poisonous berries without dying before the end of her 25th birthday, otherwise Alicia will be condemned to a loveless life.

Each main character was lively and life like. This story is good from Alicia's POV, and it was interesting to read her inner tutoring of wanting love but to not kill someone.

Jenn Windrow was able to bring to life the world of competition surfing. As someone that has never surfed, it was intriguing to see that world. It sounded almost cliche, but not quite.
