3 stars. Mayor Joker was my favorite part of this issue. Also, no ma'am Pamela better not circle the block with her ex. I'm gonna be pissed if she cheats on Harley.

Instead of relying solely on past plot points from the previous season of the show, the comic is finally moving onto its own plot. Black Mask takes Mayor Joker hostage wanting to take control of Gotham, and the Bat-Family has to stop him. We get some backstory on Posion Ivy's past lover and how they were separated after Jason Woodrue's manipulations. I honestly don't have that much to critique except for the art, done by Jon Mikel Bañales. It feels really incomplete as some panels have missing facial features. Other than that I'm excited to see where this is going.
