Not meant to be taken too seriously, but somehow I made it through the first volume and actually used my next month's Amazon prime kindle borrow on volume two. One of those books that is terrible but I somehow still enjoy, lol.

First of the three novels is the strongest. I can see what they're going for, a pulp horror (or maybe more of a 4 color fear style) but it's a bit too modern to really work as that. Decent enough popcorn horror. Feels a bit like a pitch for an HBO version of Supernatural.
