I thought this pairing was going to be my favorite. I enjoy Marks and Leo together and I liked the beginning of the book where he pursued her, but adding the trauma of Marks’ past and then immediately ignoring it made everything feel weird. On top of all of that, throwing in the final conflict was a bridge too far for me. We don’t need a mountain of family trauma that only gets mildly resolved and then the window sill scene.
I do feel the need to finish this series, but I am noticing that their quality has gone down with each installment. A shame since I enjoyed Book 1 so much.

Really, really good. The whole series just keeps getting better and better. I think Leo and Catherine's story is my favorite out of them all. I've yet to read Beatrix's but for now Leo and Cat's story is the one I love the most. Though I still love them all equally, this one stood out for me.

Otro placer culposo jaja, Leo me encanta, estoy consciente de sus problemas, pero aún así son débil con él.

It was your average historical romance ngl but the ferret was new (that recommended Beatrix’s book more than anything). And maybe the part where she was high and abt to fall off a roof. Otherwise though. Basic. Anyways. 3.25 stars?
