A story of a boy following his dreams to his “Personal Legend”. In the way he meets many characters including the love of his life, and an alchemist, crosses a desert and learns all about the world.
It’s basically a kind of biblical/spiritual story. Not really my thing but was not a terrible read. I liked the ending, it was clever in a cheeky way. And also enjoyed the way the boy grew and changed; if this was a different kind of story more dedicated to his character and far longer i could see myself really enjoying it. Granted that would basically be turning it in an adventure/fantasy book which I love so not shit.
From the the different people who have read this they either really liked the book or didn’t like it much at all. I sit in the middle and lean towards not liking it. Not really my kind of book; a little to close to a moral tale and only a moral tale.
