DID NOT FINISH

“I couldn’t have found God in the seminary, he thought, as he looked at the sunrise.”

A short, thought-provoking story. It reminded me of “The Little Prince”. I highly recommend reading this story and considering all the little things in your life that have led you to today.

A fun neo-myth that reads as a wonderful introduction to pantheism, the notion that God, the Universe, etc. can be experienced in every moment, all one needs is the right perspective.

This has become one of my litmus test books for deciding whether to trust someone's book recommendations. It's an insipid little fable. I imagine it's most popular among men who think they should be rich.

Loved it wow it made me cry on the plane, THE OMEN STUFF IS REAL WOW it’s the universe helping us. Me reading this book at this exact time was an omen. Every time I tried to read more, things kept happening, so I had to wait till the plane ride home to finish it… and wow that gave me chills.

WOW. I read this purely to see what all the fuss is about and, instead, was slapped in the face by so many personal truths. Coelho is an incredible writer of metaphors and the translator should be commended. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

“Maktub, disse. Se eu for parte de sua Lenda, você voltará um dia.”
