Gail Simone has a way of making you love characters. Even ones that you may have just met. It says something when the first issue of a story has you crying over that same character (minor spoilerish.) I love the fact that she also addresses topics that need to be addressed in our world today in a medium that may reach people who otherwise may not be politically or worldly aware. Very much looking forward to the other issues to come.
