End of a quality arc. Chopper is really cool! On to Alabasta!
One word: Chopper.
I love him so much. Also Luffy and Sanji moments in this volume were incredible

A pit stop along the way to the fan-favorite Alabasta arc, Drum Island concludes with a truly wild fight against Wapol. The villain feels he stepped out of a Fleischer Bros cartoon, both in design and for Devil Fruit power whose ridiculous will not be matched until arguably Thriller Bark. Equally silly but just as welcome is new addition Tony Tony Chopper, who briefly fools you into thinking he won't fall into "the weakling trio" with some truly awesome fighting prowess. Though the emotional core of this short arc ended last volume with Chopper's absolutely brutal backstory, this the conclusion is wins the OUS for the famous "cherry blossom" scene, which will leave you balling and melt your heart faster than a character who appears in the next volume.
