Another brilliant volume, every Tony moment made me emotional. The emphasis on the meaning of the pirate flag, especially to Luffy and Tony, was so impactful. With Luffys silly antics I feel it can become easy to forget his passion, it’s these moments you can’t help but be reminded of it in such a powerful way.

IS King Wapol a silly, non threatening boss? Yes! Are the fights still WAY more fun than Don Krieg's? ALSO YES. I would 5🌟 this regardless just because of my son, TonyTony Chopper, but the side quest nature of The Country Formerly Known As Drum Kingdom is fun and hits you in the emotions and sets you up SO WELL for future arcs. Plus, the last panel with everyone in such menacing silhouette? Flawless. No notes. One Piece is good.
