It was an enjoyable read and mostly fast-paced. The illustrations are a wonderful addition to fuel the imagination as well! The characters were diverse, and joining them on the journey felt like a hug from my university friends. Big personalities, good conflicts, and motivation to tie up the final chapters. There were many cute romance scenes where I asked myself : "Where can I find one( friendly ghost 👻) like this?"

Shan Kas is faced with his friends losing their gym because it's not been doing well for a while now, he accepts a fight invite to help them out. Something Mari has next to no experience with but she throws her all into her new job even if the stoic, sometimes grumpy MMA fighter is hard to handle at the best of times. I really loved this book! I loved Pump Two and was hoping I would love this one just as much, but I might actually love it more! Mari and Kas are such a great couple and I was so happy to get glimpses of Violet and Devon throughout the book. Also, I will forever LOVE the illustrations throughout these books!
