Wow, what trauma does to the psyche. This was a really good story but it felt a little unfinished, like there could have been another chapter or two at the end. Regardless of that however it was a chilling tale and Jules is nuts. A great listen on Audible.

I didn’t really like this one. I had high hopes because the synopsis grabbed me, but that quickly passed since after the first chapter or two. The story line was underwhelming and the character development non-existent. This is 2/2 I haven’t enjoyed by this author, she may just not be my cup of tea.

Lucinda Berry writes extremely readable, fun thrillers that are often available on Kindle Unlimited. I highly recommend the audiobooks.

This one attempts a "We Need to Talk About Kevin" plot on top of a lot of other added mysteries and it may be doing a little too much. I much preferred her other books, "The Best of Friends" and "Saving Noah".

Still a very fun read.
