Perhaps I'm feeling harsh: I did not like this book. Sure, it tries to interest kids in reading, and the last couple of pages are about how much fun everyone has reading; but the main message through the whole book is, "Bunny is reading. Bunny is so weird. Who wants to read? How dumb!"
So while the intentions may be good, the execution left much to be desired. In a whole family of bibliophiles I felt it did more to reinforce unhelpful stereotypes than actually encourage a genuine love of books.
