I had planned on picking this up as I know the narrator who reads the diver story but after someone raves about it here, I bumped it up in the queue. It’s a fantastic little book about a book and some of the people it touches and connects. I would like to have a hard copy of it to flip back and forth. Also the last story had some amazing lines that made me think of my mom’s death in December.

Skillfully written interconnected short stories that display the serendipitous impact of a single book on the lives of 10 people, beginning and ending in an unexpected way with the author. The mood is bittersweet, with loss threading throughout, but the melancholy is tempered by hope and connection. A quintessential book club book.
