DNF. let me say Angela baby this isn’t about you. love you rockstar xoxo.
the format is repetitive and as other reviewers have mentioned it doesn’t feel like a ton of effort went into compiling the book. every interview left me wanting more only for me to go to the next one and sort of hear the same thing again. i had to give up at a certain point. i intend to read a book that was Written by Angela Davis soon instead of one that is just a collection of her words.

A short read that has so much impact. Angela Davis has so much wisdom to share about the interconnectedness of our struggles and liberation. Truly an inspiring book.

very easy to read (well obviously, since it’s a collection of interviews and speeches), this is where you could start reading davis without getting lost
