I wanted to like this based on the author's name alone. Then I tried to ignore the writing style because other reviews said it would be good. But I can't. I gave it 70 pages where I skimmed the awkward conversations hoping to get to the meat of the mystery and I realized that I just don't care.

Easy read. Not the biggest fan of the author's style. Some errors that should have been picked up on during editing. The rest of the series is free on kindle unlimited so I'm going to read at least the second one.
