Dear Lumberjanes crew,
PLEASE make "The Mermaid Lemonade Stand" series real. PLEASE.

For the record: I love this issue and this arc just as much as I've loved previous issues and arcs. The change in artwork doesn't bother me (and the endless moaning about it is boring and juvenile), and riot grrrl mermaid musicians with friendships to the max are the epitome of everything good.

Oh dear. I didn't laugh once. I miss the original artwork and writing... but I'll persevere, a bump surely!

I gave this issue higher marks because of the way it addressed April's character, and how her actions impacted the other girls. However, I found the rest of the story unremarkable, which is disappointing after the high levels of creativity shown in the other issues.

The Babysitter's Club references and the references to how unrealistic everything is??? I love it

Still not digging the new art style, but also not super fascinated with this story arc. I'm glad we got more insight into April's character, at least, but other than that (which was really just a page of conversation amidst the other girls), it doesn't feel like much happened in this issue. The writing and art is just not up to par with the past stuff so far, but I'm not giving up on this series!

Mermaids are not my thing, so I'm not enjoying this as much as some of the other issues. It's nice to see April doing something on her own, but I like it much better when all the girls work together. I'm still adjusting to the new art style (which I'm not a huge fan of it right now), but I'm hopeful this arc will get better for me.
