I am a horror buff so I really loved that there were many iconic local horror characters in the book. And the new perspective on their lives and coping with 21st century problems was really refreshing too.
I do like the concept of fear that was being explored in this book. And it really hits close to home when you do realise it’s not the creep creatures and the pontianaks that scare you, but is the insecurities we have, anxiety and all that which will cripple you.
And being a debut novel, I am so excited what new exciting stories the author has in mind for the future :)
