I loved the bookish vibes of this book. Lily and Nick both loved everything about books and reading, which I enjoyed so much. But the overall story itself just fell flat for me.

I thought the emails at the beginning were super cute, but I hated that it took Nick so long to just confess who he was. Nick was also super wishy-washy about being in a relationship with Lily. I understood that he had a troubled past with his parents, but Lily proved to him multiple times that she wasn't going to hurt him.

I really enjoyed all the sister time that we got to see with Lily and her sisters. I also enjoyed Marcus and his partner - I wish we had gotten to see them more in his book. Overall, this wasn't a bad book. It just didn't check all the boxes for me being a highly rated Romance. It was alright!

I really enjoyed this book. Everything from Lily and Nick’s characters, the plot, and the side characters were highly enjoyable. I loved how much of an important role books played in this book. The only aspect that I would’ve like to see more were Lily and Nick’s lives when they were sending the emails and more of Tomcat of course.
