and Hazel being a plus sized FMC but the way the description of her body was not overdone just so its obvious to the readers about her size was awesome. And she loves herself and wasnt the least bit self conscious and that was very refreshing.

I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for this book. Hazel (FMC) is everything I love all wrapped up in one. She’s so full of sass and doesn’t take nobody’s bs so watch out if you end up on her bad side! They dynamic between her and vlad is so fun and the spicy bits is every bit as good as the everything else in this book. Loved it. Definitely would recommend.

I didnt go in expecting high literature. I was 2 chapters in and i could tell you beat for beat how this book would play out and sure enough.

I just… wasn’t invested. Writing is good, the plot was simple but there… but the relationship fell flat. Couldn’t take it seriously.
This was a lot of fun! Pretty high on heat, with a confident, strong MFC and a MMC who knows what he wants. There's not much to the plot, it is a novella after all, but it raced along with some nice touches - Vlad's ability to hear Hazel's thoughts after he's drunk her blood is pretty funny, and the mirror s*x scene was novel to me.
Overall this isn't my normal genre but was a quick and fun palate cleanser which got me out of a reading slump.
