Perfect novella for Halloween! It’s about a witch and a vampire, a pleasure potion, and mind reading! You can imagine how much fun that turns out to be. The mind reading means there’s no room for a miscommunication trope and it’s glorious.
Jillian does an excellent job of making both characters likable in a very short amount of time and while the plot is simple, the pacing and execution overall we’re done very well and makes for an enjoyable short read. And it’s centered around Halloween.
It’s part of an interconnected character series, but acts as a stand-alone. And it’s spicy!

Watch x Vampire, rivalling businesses with a little insta lust mixed in. It was a pretty simple plot but done well. Just one one hundred pages it gives what is to be expected. The spice was really good though. There were a few scenes and each one was pretty decent on my spice scale. That is all that was to be expected anyways when reading this book so it gets a solid three stars from me!

What an amazing Novella! Jillian Graves is becoming a go-to author for me to read, and this little novella has done an amazing job to cement that. Business Rivals to lovers, Paranormal, and of course the spice! This little novel has covered all its bases and then some.
Hazel, the witch, is a 6’ curvy FMC, and she is super adorable matched with Vlad, the Vampire, snarky, can listen to the thoughts of his companions (only after getting a taste of their blood), and of course hot. The tension between the two of them when they meet is so high you could cut it with a knife!
