After picking this up at FanExpo, I resolved to read it right away. Not only did I get to speak to Nancy Kilpatrick at the Horror Writer's Association pub that evening, it is a signed copy. Further, I write vampire stuff and she is also Canadian. So Many Reasons To Read It Right Away.
So, months later... I enjoyed every drop. Some stories are stronger than others but her voice throughout is a pleasure to read. They truly are variations too. Many different flavours of vampires in many different moods here. The stand out tale has to be Wild Hunt. Honestly, I would pay twice what I did for that story alone.
