Silently screaming while reading this because Rilke dropped so many bars. Definitely re-reading this and meditating over all my highlights. Rilke  cooked here. He also seems like such a nice guy, someone you would want as a mentor. It’s heart warming, poetic, profound and philosophical .  To be able to back that much substance into 50 odd pages is efficient and amazing.

This book feels like having a heart-to-heart with a wise mentor. Rilke gives some truly inspiring advice, and his prose is absolutely beautiful. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to pause and reflect on every other page.

The only thing I wish for is a version that includes Kappus' letters too. It would have been great to have that additional context and see the full conversation between them. Overall, though, it's a wonderful read.
