I read this in one sitting on a train. Then I read it again on the train ride back later that night. And since then, I've opened to any random page and read while waiting in lines, at the doctor's office, at the bus stop. I think I'll always be reading this book in one way or another.

Read it while I was travelling. It is a very small book but has a lot of important ideas packed in it.

this was a really good collection. rilke seemed very wise to me & had a lot of good insight, i think, that i feel it would be good to look back on and try to apply to my own life... it offered a lot of new ways of thinking i hadn't really thought of before, especially with regards to 'solitude' which i struggle with.
this book took me a while to read because i felt like i had to go a lot slower than i usually do to properly take in what he was saying. definitely one i feel like many people would benefit from reading & i am glad i read it
