The characters are AMAZING in this book!
I’m in LOVE!
The story didn’t always go in the direction I expected and I loved that!
It had deep emotions and serious situations mixed with great banter to lighten it at times.
There’s plenty of tension and some really hot scenes.
It was filled with very interesting characters that were multi dimensional.
It’s serious and emotional at the core. It had me a little teary eyed at times-In the good way.
I fell hard for so many of the characters! That’s rare.
I am impressed. It exceeded my expectations!
I couldn’t get enough of these amazing characters and this story! I wanted to stay up all night and devour it.
I highly recommend it!

i rly enjoyed them rediscovering each other though i wish there was more with it and not just in the last chapter, and the discussion of rape was a little uncomfy. there were a lot of ppl who were just ok with their friends making crude comments and didn’t say anything which i didn’t like at all, although i know most of it was there intentionally for plot points

Sometimes the loneliest place on earth is in the midst of a crowd. But that’s okay. I’m here and that means something.

This follows Ava who has a brother she needs to keep an eye on and care for. Abandoned by her mother at a young age and always felt like a second choice. After a high school party that changed everything she is back eight months later with a new look and attitude face to face with the voices who call her names and a liar. Will the truth of that night be revealed?

Loved this new adult stand-alone. It is an emotional read that deals with some heavy topics so be mindful going in. Ava comes from a broken home, she has had to mature young to take care of her special needs brother and will do anything for him. She is strong, resilient and has a point to prove. I loved Ava’s vibe. Knox is the shark and quarterback of the school, he may look rich and family put together on the outside but once you get to know him he is dealing with a lot of guilt but also taking on responsibility. The things this man did in the background for her and helping her without her knowing was beautiful. He may be hiding his feelings but towards her, he has his heart on his sleeve. Enjoyed the storyline, plot and characters. Recommend if you want something more emotional and deep and darker themes.

Audiobook was fantastic love Savannah’s and Zachary’s work.

This book was so good. So heartfelt because of the trauma the heroine suffers at the beginning of the book. I read the first chapter and was hooked. I HAD to know what was going to happen. I wanna say it was SLIGHTLY predictable in a couple parts. Like, we kind of know who is the writer of the love letters early on if you're paying attention. But regardless, I loved the whole book. I loved the storyline. I loved Ava. I was enamored with Knox. I wanted to know Dane so much better. Piper and Wyatt were great side characters. I don't think we'll get any of their books though but I would love to see where they all end up one day. I thought Ava was so strong and so dang brave for overcoming the obstacles that were placed in her life. Her love for her little brother warmed my heart. Putting her own feelings aside so that she could make sure that he was getting the care he needed to have a better life. I loved it. I literally just finished this book and I'm already ready to read it again! Highly recommend this book. There is definitely a trigger in there for some people and I can't remember if there was a warning or not for the people that need it but either way, I feel like this book is a really good read. Ilsa Madden-Mills writes some great stuff, y'all.
