This book was so much morbid and interesting fun 😅 I learned so much, and Blaine is already so sick of me spouting off random, weird facts about everything from fatbergs to maggot farms and from head transplants to poop. The intro says how you can read it all in order or just read a bit here and there which is super true, but man is it fun reading them back to back in order precisely because they're so random 😅 Highly recommend for those who aren't squeamish.

I learned a lot about gross things while listening to this book. The chapter that sticks out to me the most is the one on skin mites 🥵 and listening to the chapter about facial recognition/face blindness, made me do a bunch of quizzes to see if I’m a Super Recognizer, and honestly, I really think I am. Though I refuse to use my powers for evil working with cops and commit to using them for good (by interrupting movies to tell you what else that actor has been in!) Also had BIG feelings about the chapter regarding roaches & roach inspired robots because lord knows those are going to be used for mass surveillance and other nonsense. Informative, gross, and weird with solid narration. My biggest beef with text was largely the authors implied pro-cop/pro-criminal “justice” system sentiments. But all in all, an interesting read.
