“You have no right to preach to me, you neophyte, that have not passed the porch of life, and are absolutely unacquainted with its mysteries.”

I think if I had more time to soak this in I would have enjoyed this more. But for what it was, I did find myself intrigued by the story and enjoying the events and how everything played out.

I love Jane at 10 years old and her inquisitive nature and sheer curiosity she shows throughout that age. I found myself losing interest as she turned 18 but the plot kept coming back and interesting me. I absolutely adored some of the things I didn't see coming because I feel like I always know the plot twists in other novels but not this one.

10/10 - Jane Eyre? - Slayed
I am aware ‘slayed’ is an inappropriate word to use in the context of a popular classic book like Jane Eyre but idc

The book gave us narrative of Jane Eyre’s life. The book is told from the perspective of older Jane Eyre, who is recalling memories and sharing them.

The story was amazing and I loved how Jane Eyre, even with her horrible upbringing and tough life, was able to change and improve her life with the hard work she put in.
From the boarding school, to teaching, continuing to the role as the governess at Mr Rochester’s for the illegitimate (potential) daughter. Jane Eyre thought the book, although calls herself plain and boring, knows her worth - reflecting the life she probably should have taken but didn’t because she knew she deserved better then to be the mistress of a married man

I would recommend this classic for sure
Took a while to get through - but overall it was worth it
