I liked it, but then it's rare that I admit to disliking a JQ book ([b:Mr. Cavendish, I Presume|2881565|Mr. Cavendish, I Presume (Two Dukes of Wyndham #2)|Julia Quinn|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1314462248s/2881565.jpg|2907783] and [b:The Lost Duke of Wyndham|6012471|The Lost Duke of Wyndham (Two Dukes of Wyndham, #1)|Julia Quinn|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1274212418s/6012471.jpg|2255595] are the exceptions). Daniel and Anne's story was very sweet and enjoyable, the humor I adore had my chuckling a couple of times...then Anne made a comment

when she was going to make love with Daniel about her first time not counting because it wasn't with him. Sorry. You don't get to lose your virginity a second time.

I disagree. Other minor details didn't seem realistic, but they also didn't detract from the pleasure of the tale. Fun read.

Another entertaining, cute lil romance. I liked the similarity to Offer from a Gentleman. Not my favorite, but also not my least favorite. 3.7/5

2.5 Two leads both have hits out on them. Anne is in hiding as a governess. Daniel has just returned to England but is still on edge. Their chemistry doesn't really exist--basically Daniel sees that Anne is really really hot.
