Literally a joke every sentence. Fantastic.

It's alright. I liked the plot and world but none of the characters were likable. That was partially by design as many of them were supposed to be unlikeable, but it got a little hard to read here and there since I didn't care for the point of view character either. All in all, it's okay, but I much prefer the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit instead.

All of that said, LOVED this ending. I don't know why, but it just felt pretty perfect. The last few lines gave me chills, though I couldn't really explain why.

All and all, still a pretty fun story to come back to. If you like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? The movie, you might not enjoy this. The characters share mostly only names. IF you enjoy a fun, silly detective noir though, you probably will enjoy Who Censored Roger Rabbit?.

2.5 stars, the ending sucks balls, and the whole book just kind of meanders with an interesting idea. The ending is stupid, and just felt like an excuse to never give an actual answer to the questions posed, and just feels so thrown together. The movie is leagues better. The balls to just introduce magic, and the genie as the killer with no buildup, along with making it still be roger who killed the guy feels just stupid.

I love the movie that this book is based on. However this book is atrocious. It's poorly written. The plot is terrible. It is racist, misogynist, anti-LGTBQ. It's all of the bad things. Save yourself time and don't bother.
