Buehlman’s world-building is nothing short of fantastic; every detail, from the shadowy forests to the bustling cities, is meticulously crafted, providing a rich backdrop against which the story unfolds.

pretty groovy, needed some more character stuff though. I really didn't get any idea who norrigal was so honestly wasn't upset when she 'died', highly respect she was actually a weird old witch. galva I loved her so much I understand why author immediately wrote a book on her. had me in the first bit but then got kinda eh toward the end but this might me a me problem. goblins! who eat people! war corvids bless them. a MAP! but the mc being 'enamored', bro really? hate insta-love it was so forced.
