Enjoyable and fun read

I think this book did an amazing job with talking about life, death, and fulfillment. It was a fun read, and I enjoyed following Lily's journey through the book! Her and Bel make a great team. Neither are perfect, but they’re always supportive of each other. Some things that I didn’t particularly like were some of the Lo culture references and more cheesy conversations with deities and gods. It was a little cringey or out of place for me, but overall didn’t take too much away from the story.

The emotions that I felt while reading this book was insane!! I cried no less than 4 times! It was emotional, hot, steamy, and raw. I have yet again fell in love with another demon. I was unprepared for this book in the best ways. I connected alot with Lilly, and the things she feels, what she went through, and her outlook at things. She’s strong, witty, and sarcastic as hell and I’m here for it.

This was definitely unexpected. The book has such a cozy vibe while also being deeply heartbreaking and smutty and a little violent. It felt a lot like reading about Velaris and the Night Court. Greg is very similar to Azriel and I second every review that suggested he needs his own book and his own happy ending. The only thing that makes it slightly less than 5 starts for me is how long it was and sometimes too drawn out.
