This book makes me so happy. The pace is slower and more deliberate than I’m used to, and also more lovely and thoughtful. It has some good spice, but, most importantly, a world in which I would be happy to reside forever. What a pleasant surprise to find this fantastic world and characters that apparently came from TikTok skits. ❤️

I really enjoyed this book and the reimagining of the afterlife, with Hell standing as a place for justice and redemption. The romance was so enjoyable, as were the broader found family themes. At times it felt a bit long (even while fun to read) and maybe broken down a man’s duology would have been good - you felt you reached a peak plot point and then it just keep going and adding which at times left an unbalanced, what next feeling.

This is an emotional rollercoaster that heals parts you that you never knew needed healing. At times I wanted to jump into the book and help beat some characters.
