Despite its imperfections (e.g. therapist-as-saviour) I just loved it, especially as it was based on the author’s experiences.

This was such a moving book. Not only could the reader see the point of view of the main character, but also the view of her parents and her psychologist. Every character had their own way of thinking, and it was easy to empathize with each character. This book was so clever written, that you could read along with Deborah's illness

and see it disappearing.

I loved Deborah, I loved the author's way of letting me move with the characters and I loved the poetic way of writing and understanding mental illness.
