Spoilers- but this book has been out long enough that it really shouldn't matter. You are reading this because you want to KNOW what happens :)

My thanks to the reviewer that warned me that this was the "slowest burn romance they had ever seen". I was prepared to wait, and oh boy- was it ever worth it! It -eventually- is M/M and the subtlety and intimacy take it to another level. Nothing happens in this 1st story- just you wait though!

I am reaching back in my mind to write this review since I just devoured book after book. Its been a while that a book was so riveting I was up until 2 am (with book 2). Yes, its a sports book with a completely made up sport- doesn't matter, it was riveting. Neil is amazing, I love him so.

This book is your introduction to Exy, Neil, the Team at Palmetto State and all the characters that set up the foundation of these stories. Its a lot of people, info and mystery as it all unfolds but (for once) I was able to follow along. My own problem is that I tend to speed read and I kept missing important info and had to back-track. It forced me to slow down and absorb the story as it unfolded. It makes you think, it makes you feel.

These books are so worth the purchase- 1st one was 0.00 and the next 2 were .99 each. I don't regret it, in fact I would have paid more in hindsight.
