This is the third book in the Vampire Chronicles. This book continues the story of Lestat from The Vampire Lestat. It also tells the story of multiple other characters. Including Akasha who is the Queen Of The Damned. It goes much more in depth about how vampires were initially created. These include both Akasha and other First Born. I enjoyed this book a lot. I liked it best of the three books in the Vampire Chronicles.
