devil's minion is the only really enjoyable bit. daniel is the only character who is actually well written, i like the others but daniel is real as fuck and the others are such mary sues. especially lestat. hes a rockstar?? why?? fuck off?? every single character is a gay, rich, sexy, white twink who speaks french. as all of those except rich and French speaking myself, im down when its one guy but it gets a bit boring. this is in the whole series but is a big thing of this book and so forth. also every woman has red hair, if it isnt a gay French millionaire twink its a redhead girl. stan rice's poems in betweens the chapters was annoying too theyre kind of mid in all honesty. like, lestat was based off him and rockstar lestat off jim morrison? could you find two wankier poets? that family guy joke about jim morrisons poems with the caterpillar and the snake was so accurate. and anne rice writes like jim morrison sometimes, they think theyre sooo whimsical. i wouldnt give a fuck about either of them if it wasnt for val kilmer and tom cruise. tony scott is the real whimsical wise genius here for making top gun. that's also got gay white guys and doesnt have khayman. does anyone care about khayman???

This is an okay, albeit somewhat long, continuation of the vampire chronicles. However, it has passages that are so sexist that it becomes difficult to continue. I'm not sure what's worse; reading the dialog of this character or having their views go unchallenged. Also has racist undertones.
