me in chapter three: dnf due to sheer second hand embarrassment.

but i found a solution, i skipped it. it had been two days since i put it down and it was either skip it or actually dnf (which i hate doing). so i will never know what happened at the end of that chapter or at the beginning of the fourth chapter and i’m perfectly fine with it.

other than that, i really liked seph. she’s one of the strongest characters that i’ve read. it did end slightly abruptly and their fight was stupid but i finished it, so yay!

When I first started this book, it was like I found a treasure, not enough people knew about it. I was loving how funny everything was, it has been a long time since I laughed this much with a book, and the 'ad situation' was killing me. I loved the whole university setting, how much I could relate to Seph, about her eagerness in being wild and doing stuff she has never done before because of these invisible strings our parents put us in. I don't think there's a specific thing that makes me like Reece so much besides his way towards Seph and how caring he was with her since the beginning. You cannot say they don't have a lot of baggage but one thing I felt like was missing in their relationship was talking about that stuff, especially Reece, he didn't tell her about the whole 'last year thing', in fact, neither do I know what exactly happened. I wish Seph had told him the depth of what her dad did to her and how even being surrounded by people she still felt alone. Besides that, their relationship was interestingly built and having the two of them finally together made my stone-cold heart melt.

The ending kind of made the instant love I felt for the book die a little, I mean, say that was a little rushed it's a compliment. The whole reflection Reece had all of a sudden was so unexpected because one chapter before he was like "I can't live without her" to "I can't be here right now" and I honestly don't get it. I wished the meeting of Seph and her dad had a chapter to happen instead of a page and Reece's a page because while reading it I was like "Why are we reading this? I didn't even realize he felt his way about his dad at all". So all of this and the fact that everything just worked out so fast in the last two chapters made me disappointed.
