One Piece is and will always remain one of my favourite mangas. I couldn't help myself to restart the series for the 100th time.

Luffy has always dreamed to become a pirate, and even eating the devil fruit that gave him power but won't allow him to swim ever again, don't stop him from his dream. When he's older he sets sail, without having any idea on where he'll end up to. He meets and save Zolo, his first crew member. In this volume, he also has the first encounter with Nami.

After watching the anime and live action for this same segment of the story, I think I actually like the manga the best! This rating isn't super stellar, but I do enjoy this manga a lot and look forward to continuing the series!  Bold characters with dramatic flair - yep, that's the stuff.
