After finishing this book I had very mixed feelings. This was a very quick read for me and I really liked that it tackled topics such as racist, misogynistic environment of Melody's workplace, and I think the concept of this book was very unique and interesting. I

As for the characters, I did really enjoy them especially Melody .I can’t say that I fell head over heels for them, but I did enjoy the different relationships we saw throughout this book, as well as the sweet romance.

Overall, I did enjoy my time reading it, but I didn’t fall in love with it.

This book had a lot of potential. As someone who works in games (although I'm fortunate to be in a more accepting company) I really appreciated the commentary. There was some good feminist vibes going on but it was a little annoying at times how bad things got, especially since I wasn't happy with how the book handled/resolved those things. The romance felt like a second thought and although I was pretty invested in seeing how things went my interest had little to nothing to do with the romance which was upsetting since the title implied thats what this was. I still "enjoyed" the book but I was pretty disappointed.
