One of my favourite Dr Seuss books. Shame they made bad choices with the extra bits they added to the movie. I understand they had to make the story longer, but they should have come up with a better story.

What can one say?

I somehow made it to adulthood never reading the Lorax though I know I have read just about every other Dr Suess book. The Lorax is great, filled with the typical zany Suess charm and stands out for promoting an apt environmental message.

Makes me cry evertime I read it to my son.

Elliott's new favorite book

...E il Lorax ripetè col groppo alla gola:
«Io parlo per gli alberi che non hanno parola!»

Excellent tale of the consequences of environmental degradation, with the usual Dr. Seuss flair for humor and nonsense.

This book has a very strong political message, which I was not anticipating.
