I devoured this book! This is the second book after Dr. Dil (the first) and it has a good mix of the past characters we know and love while focusing on a new love story. This one takes on the role of an enemies to lovers after a first impression gone wrong between our leads. They both work in the service industry (chef and wedding planner) and both push each other to ask for help, grow, challenge expectations and family obligations, and also help each other figure out who is trying to sabotage their best friends wedding!

This is a fun, SEXY, witty follow up book and I had the best time reading it. I love to get a glimpse into Indian culture through this book as well. Through both the food aspect (the chef), the familial and community aspects, and the wedding experience!

I liked that Bobbi was plus sized but it wasn’t a main plot point. The author did a great job navigating that. I liked all the text conversations and aunties WhatsApp group. The aunties from these books have a special place in my heart ❤️ looking forward to what is hopefully another book in this series!

Add this one to your summer TBR! It comes out this august.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!

I think I just became a Nisha Sharma mega fan omg literally on my way to the bookstore to purchase my own copy of this series so I can SLEEP WITH IT UNDER MY PILLOW EVERY NIGHT EXCEPT FOR WHEN I LEND IT OUT TO FRIENDS TO FORCE THEM TO READ IT

I absolutely DEVOURED this book! I love how Nisha created a female leaf who was plus size who loved her body and was confident. Great chemistry between the characters and the spice was top notch!
Can’t wait for the next instalment in the series.

This was entertaining and fun to read. I really liked both main character, they were loyal, hardworking and passionate. They had so much chemestry from the very beginning and I loved to see the evolution of their relationship from animosity to love. The friend group is fantastic and I really appreciated the way this discussed complicated family dynamics and the toll that family obligations can have. While the thrid act conflict was a bit frustrating, I could undestand where the hero was coming from so that made it easier to handle, and the fact that it wasn't dragged out also helped.

2.5 ⭐️ Did not dnf, but there was scenes in which I felt like it. My main problem was really the sabotage, it was very fun in the beginning but the end just felt flat, the cousin wasn’t just naive, she was really stupid bc of what she did. It was not bad but that part really took a toll on my rating, however I’m still interested in really Veera story!

4.5 stars. This was soooooo good Nisha does it again!! I love their relationship and I just wanted MORE
