These characters were delightful and so filthy. Benjamin and his ropes? WHEW! I loved the plus size rep and the love for friends and the family of create for yourself.

After a long-ass work week this book proved to be the perfect antidote (the manhwa I read at the same time also helped but let's give this book the credit). I did listen to this on audio which helped - I think the two narrators are my favorites now.

I did go into this book with high expectations after really liking Dr. Dil. I liked Dr. Dil so much that I decided to jump straight into this book - which is rare for me as I like giving author's a break so that the writing tropes dont get stale. Thankfully, I found this book even better than the first.

I liked our lead couple - they had a chemistry. The romance really worked for me - the romance was fun but the macro plot worked well here as well. The shaddi saboteur storyline was much more successful than in book 1 - it tied into the couple's job well and added to the overall romance. There was a nice balance of silliness, comedy and seriousness. There is reference to desi culture, personal issues and hang-ups but none of this overwhelms the comedic tone of the book.

Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I loved last year’s romantic comedy Dating Dr. Dil, and have not-so-patiently anticipated the second in her Shakespeare-inspired series, Tastes Like Shakkar. It. Did. Not. Disappoint. In fact, I think I liked it even more, which is definitely saying something. Bobbi and Benjamin (Bunty) are adorable and have the best dynamic. This book was spicier than I had assumed it would be (which is never a bad thing). The aunties were amazing and hilarious and so very loving. If you haven’t read Dating Dr. Dil, I definitely think you should, and then grab this one also. You won’t be disappointed!
