Tense romance. I found the guilt-ridden family dynamics easy to relate to. The wedding saboteur plot was too upsetting for me though. I like my romances to be more fun, less anxiety inducing! The spicy scenes are very spicy
Deliciously romantic, charming & entertaining!
Tastes Like Shakkar delivered every bit of the romcom journey I expected. I absolutely loved how it had me gasping, blushing, and quite literally laughing out loud. Sometimes sequels fall short of capturing the same magic as the first book, and that was certainly NOT the case this time. I was just as entertained and invested in the characters as I was with the first installemen, (Dating Dr. Dil).
Speaking of first installments, I absolutely adored all of the Prem & Kareena appearances and it made my heart so happy to not lose them entirely. I think they we're in it the perfect amount & I am usually wishing for more in these interconnected stand-alones.
10/10 review which was honestly expected. Nisha Sharma does it again!
Thank you Nisha Sharma & Harper Collins/Avon Books for the ARC

Bobbi Kaur is ready to plan Kareena's wedding. She also wants to prove to her uncle that she can handle a more executive position in the family business. Her handling of her best friend's wedding will be her chance to prove herself. However, she not only has to handle a shaadi saboteur but she also has to work alongside Benjamin Padda. They had one of the worst meet cutes, and Bobbi lost one of her promising accounts. Now the real mystery is not the saboteur themself, but if the truce between Bobbi and Ben will last past the wedding.
This was better than the first book, but I still didn't like it. I will read the last installment though. It was nice to read a man taking care of his woman, and I do love a chef ML. This had kink, and I wish we had more scenes.
However, I think that Bobbi could've known who was unkowingly helping the saboteur and it drove me mad that she couldn't see it, IT WAS OBVIOUS. Bobbi's uncle was insufferable, and it kept me questioning her sanity for staying there. Yeah, she's family driven but she has to love herself more. I had the same issue with Ben, I also wanted him to love himself more. And though by the end Ben had a character arc, I think Bobbi's character arc was lacking; I don't think she learned her lesson and will probably repeat the same pattern if the situation enables it. I think they'll be happy for now, and not live happily ever after.
