She's a wedding planner who is wants to take over her family business, but her uncle is very tough on her.

He is a chef. She needs him to cater a wedding. He refuses to even talk about it and also makes her think he isn't interested in her because of her weight.

Then, they get stuck together to plan their best friend's wedding.

He is caught up in his family business too - they want him to move back to Cali.
He just keeps listening to them, but then realizes that's not what he wants.

He wants her and to be on the same coast.

Oh and someone is trying to sabotage the wedding - it's her best friend's sister's MIL, she's upset that the the sister eloped and is taking it out on the friend's wedding.

genuinely disappointed that the saboteur didn't turn out to be the mrs. gupta lady. i fully thought it was going to be her based on the end of book 1. alas.
