the weird spaceship thing at the end?? i suppose that was supposed to show the different dimensions a but, and also how the engery conflict worked but... idk felt a bit out of place

the fact that we don't know what happened to Lin's father... I would have liked to know :(

and overall the ending could have been a bit longer/more detailed

I really did like this! It was well written and the world building was interesting. It so easily could have been 4+ stars if only so much of what had been building was not resolved off-page.
