The first half of this book really dragged and Millie was insufferable!

I was glad when someone finally died and the pace picked up.

I had a vague guess about what the twist was going to be but there was more to it than I expected. I remember liking the first two of these novels but couldn’t for the life of me remember anything about them as I read book three. Freida’s books are like candy — delicious yet easy to forget. This one isn’t my favorite of hers, but it’s not the worst one I’ve read either. I like that the door is open for another book in this series as well. Definitely intriguing.

This is the third book in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘥 series and once again it did not disappoint.

Millie is back and is ready to move on with her life and moves her family to a lovely cul-de-sac into her dream home.  But once again she finds herself in a precarious position when she is told to “𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴.".

This was a page turning binge read and once I started I couldn’t put it down.

I did find the first bit a little slow but it doesn’t take long before it takes off and you get completely hooked.

And just when I would think I was starting to figure things out Freida throws in a curveball and has me reevaluating all my theories.

And that final twist in the epilogue completely shocked me, I was not expecting that.

I highly suggest grabbing this series.
You can read this as a standalone, but I recommend reading 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙙 and 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙙'𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩 first.

This book had me feeling every feeling possible! I didn't know what to think or expect! It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I was obsessed! I finished book 2 & 3 in 3 days.... I'm just sad that Millie's story is over! I love how she brought characters from other books into the story. Easy reads that you can't put down because Freida knows how to tell a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat! There was one part that I wish was explained in more detail but nothing major. Definitely recommend The Housemaids series- you won't regret it!
