This book is something a lot of immigrant kids can relate to. It’s so eye opening to see that even if you didn’t blatantly experience racism, you still did experience it. There were many short stories but only a few of them were relevant to what I thought the book was about. Some of them were there and I was confused as to why they were there to begin with.
But it was a quick and easy read! Very interesting and very relatable if you’re a child of immigrants or you are an immigrant, assimilating in Canadian society (or western society).

A perfectly fine but not memorable collection of short stories.
