Not my fave from Junji Ito, but his art always has a way of impressing me and the little details he adds are always amazing. He is amazing at building suspense. Madonna and Slumber were the notable stories of this one for me.

Stories that just made my skin crawl and stunning illustrations I’m sure were designed to give me nightmares, just what I’ve come to love and expect from Junji Ito and keep coming back for more of!

OMG?? I loved this. The illustrations were amazing, the stories were amazing, it was everything. I would read this if you’re into horror, otherwise I would say it would probably not be your cup of tea. Overall, I already bought a second collection of this authors stories so I’m going to read that now because the writing and illustrations are so good.

Probably the wrong one to start with junji ito. The stories feel like paper thin alibis for the haunting art and the artistry in the back half doesn't even feel worth it. Excited to check out some better junji ito tho.
