i’ve read a lot of hades and persephone books and retellings, so i feel like i know what to expect at the point. however, i was not expecting to be so blown away by punderworld. it was so fresh compared to other retellings i’ve read. it also was set in a classically greek setting which you don’t see very often because most people go for a modern retelling! it was so fun and cute. the art style was ethereal. i could have stared at the pages for days…
i want more! i saw where volume 2 is in progress and all i want is be able to read it immediately.

The artwork is great. Rating artwork alone and the personality given to the characters in art form, I would give this 4.5 stars.
This is a fast-paced comic, and for me a little TOO fast. There wasn't much building of a story or plot, not much personality given to characters, and overall it felt very bare bones. (Mean comments ahead- please don't read this if it's going to hurt.) Yes, this is the first of a comic series, but this did not grab me as either interesting or fun to read. Shorter comics and videos have produced more interesting content.

Despite the fact that my brain is unable to stop comparing this version of Hades to a hotter versionof Snape, I love this story and need volume 2 immediately.

כשחיפשתי רומנים גרפים באמזון נתקלתי בספר הזה והכריכה ממש משכה לי את העין וכמובן שזה ריטיילינג על האדס ופרספונה רק שכנע אותי לרכוש אותו
הרומן הגרפי הזה כתוב טןב יש פה התפתחות וקו עלילה שבחלקו נשען על המיתוס המקורי אבל עם שינויים של הסופרת האדס כן הוא טיפוס ביישן ומופנם הוא דלוק על פרספונה כבר שני עשורים אחרי הפעם הראשונה שהוא פגש בה והיו להם עוד מפגשים קטנים לאורך הזמן אבל הוא הרגיש חוסר ביטחון לפנות אליה כי מה יכול להציע מלך השאול ולאלת הצמיחה והחיים
לילה אחד זאוס אורך חגיגה לכבוד ארטמיס והאדס מגיע לחגיגה כדי לפתור בעיה שהוא נתקל בה הם המתים אבל זאוס אינו מוכן לשמוע על זה ורוצה שהאדס ינסה להשתחרר קצת לשם שינוי כאשר הם שותים ומדברים האדס חושף בפני זאוס את הרגשות שלו כלפי פרספונה וזאוס כמובן מנסה לעזור לשניהם אבל בעצם עושה יותר הזק מתועלת כאשר האדס מנסה לחלץ את פרספונה מהמלכודת שזאוס טמן לה בשבילו
האמנות פה מהממת ורואים את ההשקעה והחקירה של הכותבת לגבי המיתולוגיה הסיפור אמנם קצר כי זה רק חלק הראשון והסופרת יצאה להפסקה כרגע ואמורה להמשיך את הסיפור במהלך השנה הזאת אבל נהניתי מהעלילה ומהדמויות ויש לסיפור פה פוטנציאל גדול אני מקווה שהיא תחזור לכתוב ושתמשיך את העלילה שרק מתחילה פה

Loved it! Loved the characters, the concept, the art! Honestly can't wait for the next volume.
